The Studio

Nestled in the unspoiled rainforest of Gianyar, this meditative space is connected to the very foundations of Balinese life and culture. Given its legendary status, this area holds a special status among the Balinese as a place of positive and healing energy. Studio is located in the heart of the island in the rural village of Melinggih, which translates simply as “sitting”, and accords to the atmosphere benign for deep meditative practice. Surrounded by restoring natural springs and well-groomed rice fields, quiet and secluded, this retreat space shares a soil with a permaculture garden. Closeness to nature and sustainable practices make the atmosphere supportive of slow living, promoting peace and relaxation, creating the experience of grounding, cleansing and strengthening of the body, mind and spirit. The Practice

Whether you choose to sleep, write, garden, create, read, rest, or engage in focused work, the space remains wonderfully undemanding. The signature Breathwork Treatment offers a profound way to deepen your experience. With self-check-in and check-out, your independence is preserved, creating an uncomplicated retreat that exists simply to serve your need for quietude. Begin your session with a gentle opening conversation, where we discuss your intentions and any specific enquiries you'd like to address. The breathwork practice itself takes place in a comfortable setting where you'll lie down on a most comrotable breathing mat, supported by pillows and blanket. Using a Conscious Connected breathing technique, you'll enter into a continuous, rhythmic breath pattern that will create a subtle energy charge in the body. During the 45-minute active breathing phase, music supports your journey as you move through different sensations and emotions. Your facilitator remains present and focused, offering gentle guidance and support during the process. This practice helps release physical tension and emotional blocks while increasing energy flow throughout your body. The session concludes with a period of integration where you'll rest in complete relaxation, allowing your system to absorb the experience. The practice is followed by a short sharing space where you can process any insights or experiences that arose.

All participants report feeling deeply relaxed, emotionally clear, and physically energized after their session. The practice can help release stress, enhance creativity, improve emotional awareness, and create a profound sense of peace and connection with yourself.

Personal Retreat

A serene sanctuary for those seeking dedicated time away from life's constant motion. This thoughtfully minimalist space serves as your personal retreat, whether you need a few hours of solitude or a full day of uninterrupted peace. Here, you'll find the perfect setting for meditation, creative work, or simply being with yourself without the usual distractions of daily life. Unlike traditional retreats or hotels, the space maintains an intentionally humble atmosphere that invites introspection and clarity. Whether you choose to meditate, read, work on a creative project, or simply rest, you'll find the environment naturally conducive to focusing inward. The surrounding natural landscape offers gentle walking paths and quiet spots for contemplation, while the indoor space provides a clean, uncluttered environment that allows your mind to settle and expand.
With self-check-in and complete privacy, you're free to use the space in whatever way serves you best - from focused work sessions to peaceful meditation practices. It's a place where silence is honored and solitude is sacred, allowing you to reconnect with yourself and gain fresh perspective.

Breathwork course

12 private in-person sessions scheduled weekly over the regular 3 Months period, or individually adjusted as an Intensive with 2 sessions per week.

This offer includes appointments fit into a 4 hour in-studio time window per appointment, which allows for space to be used for personal retreat and meditation, before/after the treatment.

Alternatively sessions can be done at the client's preferred location.

With a background in Humanities, Arts and Physical Education, Thea was always naturally disposed toward deeper explorations of her own inner world, mind and psyche. During her journey of personal development, Thea has accumulated invaluable experience and developed a profound understanding of human nature and the inner workings of the body. She has explored a diverse array of therapeutic techniques, discovering the efficacy of a holistic approach and wonders of body-based methods. Now, she channels this knowledge into a form of somatic care centered in Breath, helping others in their process of individuation and spiritual growth.

Thea embraces slow life in the heart of the island, operating from her eco-garden studio, where she established her private practice, offering an uncomplicated yet exquisite wellness experience.
