Thea founded Breathing Space Bali to support high performing individuals on their path towards personal and professional excellence. Thea has a deep commitment to personal development, holistic lifestyle, wellbeing and transformation. In the last decade she has explored a diverse array of therapeutic, experiential, scientific, creative and esoteric approaches to self study, discovering the efficacy of a holistic approach and wonders of body-based methods. Through her own gentle evolution Thea has accumulated invaluable experience, and developed a profound understanding of human nature and the inner workings of the body and mind. Now she channels her natural gifts and expertise into a quintessential form of Breathwork she calls "Breathing Space", which focuses on restoring the natural breathing rhythm, leading ambitious individuals to a state of sustainable flourishing.

Breathing Space as a form of personal practice is a holistic approach to wellness, lifestyle and personal care. Providing transformative experience, using body-based method centered in Breath, it is rooted in profound respect for human potential and autonomy. This approach sees individuals as inherently whole and limitless, with an innate capacity for self-restoration and self-actualization. Breathing Space creates a neutral, non-directive space where individuals can explore their inner landscape. By focusing on lived experience rather than external frameworks or logical constructs, participants are empowered to discover their own truths, make authentic choices, and arrive to breakthroughs.
The facilitator serves as a compassionate witness who creates a spacious container for self-discovery, offering expertise and support without imposing any direction. Breath becomes the gentle, non-suggestive pathway through which individuals can tap into their deepest wisdom, allowing insights and transformations to emerge organically from within, precisely attuned to their unique inquiry, life situation and personal pace of evolution.

Through Conscious Connected Breathing – a gentle yet powerful circular breathing pattern – we activate the body's natural healing capacity and enter expanded states of consciousness. The process begins with laying down on a comfortable Breathing Mat, supported by blankets and pillows if necessary. The practice is accompanied by carefully curated music, precise verbal guidance, and intuitive hands-on support. As you connect your inhale and exhale into a continuous flow, a breath gradually builds to create a subtle energetic charge in the body. As your introspective experience deepens facilitator uses touch and elements of bodywork to identify and release areas of physical tension. This somatic support helps move stuck energy and emotions through the body safely, allowing for deep release without overwhelm. The journey naturally progresses into states of deep meditation, accessing realms of pure consciousness – what Eastern traditions call 'wuji' or the great void. Here, many experience profound states of bliss and connection to source energy, touching dimensions beyond ordinary awareness. This deep rest allows the nervous system to reset and the body to access its innate healing wisdom.
